Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Yamuna Nayani Karunajeewa is a Senior Radiocommunication Engineer in the Space Services Department of ITU’s Radiocommunication Bureau. She joined ITU in 2001 to further her professional development and expand her expertise beyond national boundaries to better serve a global community. Prior to this role, Yamuna Nayani Karunajeewa served as the Assistant Director of Spectrum Management at the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka.
