Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Monika Gullerova is a full Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Oxford. She studies the roles of RNA in the DNA damage response, aiming to understand DNA repair mechanisms. Monika leads her own laboratory at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, funded by prestigious Senior Research Fellowship from Cancer Research UK. She also co‑founded Dark Blue Therapeutics to translate her research into therapeutic applications.
