Changing Faces of Science and Tech

The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.

The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.

Jelisaveta Načić, Architect (Belgrade, 1878 — Dubrovnik, 1955)
She graduated from the Architectural Department of the Technical Faculty of the Great School in Belgrade in 1900 as an excellent student, becoming the first female architect in Serbia. Her entire architectural opus was mainly connected to Belgrade, where she designed buildings of various purposes from public buildings, private houses to the arrangement of its individual parts.
