Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Žydrūnė Vitaitė co‑founded Women Go Tech, a mentorship initiative aimed at empowering women to pursue careers in ICT and engineering. Endorsed by former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė, supported by Google and local enterprises, this program has positively influenced over 29,000 women on their paths toward tech careers. Currently, Ms. Vitaitė serves as the Business Unit Manager at Monitum, specializing in IoT sensor design.
