Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
“Approved!”, said Sulyna Abdullah as she hit the gavel during one of the meetings of the Working Group of the Plenary at ITU’s Plenipotentiary Conference in 2018. Sulyna is currently Chief of Strategic Planning and Membership at ITU, the UN Agency for Digital Technologies. Originally a lawyer, Sulyna spent close to two decades at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission after which she had a short stint at Netflix.
