Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Dr. N. Kalaiselvi: First Woman Director‑General of India’s largest research organization, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Vice‑Minister of Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. She has expertise in the area of Electrochemical Science, particularly in lithium‑ion batteries. She is leading the network of 38 R&D laboratories of CSIR/DSIR that have a workforce of 4,500 Scientists.
