Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Sophie Adenot is a French soldier, engineer and astronaut. A colonel in the Air and Space Force, she was a helicopter pilot and then a test pilot. On November 23rd, 2022, she was chosen as a member of the European Astronaut Corps. She became the second French woman astronaut.
