The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Engineer (Mrs.) Seblewongel Tesfu Teferie (BSc. Electrical and computer Engineering, MSc. Energy technology, 10+ years’ experience in product development in energy sector, seble_tesfu@yahoo.com) founds Noliga Engineering manufacturing wind (100w‑100Kw) and hydrokinetic turbines (1Kw‑500KW) creating Green Jobs! These turbines generate power in existing hydro power plants, from rivers & irrigation canals promoting E‑farming and use power of river to pump water for irrigation.
