Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Sophie Baron is an electronic engineer at CERN. She leads a section of 30 technicians, engineers and physicists in charge of designing electronic systems for experiments. She is also an expert in timing distribution, targeting picosecond precision. In the picture you see her reviewing the layout of a printed circuit board.
