Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Delphine Jacquet is an engineer‑in‑charge of the LHC in the CERN Control Centre. She is responsible for ensuring that the accelerators are running as efficiently as possible and that the beam is delivered to the experiments with the characteristics they need. It is also her job to react in the event of machine failure or other problems.
