Changing Faces of Science and Tech

The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.

The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.

Charlotte Duchemin is the physics coordinator and Laura Lambert is the lead operator at CERN’s nuclear medicine facility, MEDICIS. They are transporting a target in preparation for irradiation at ISOLDE. This target is used to produce high‑purity‑grade medical radionuclides for cancer research.
