Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Brigitte Vachon is an experimental particle physicist. In the picture she is seen working on the integration and commissioning of new detectors for the ATLAS experiment at CERN. She is a James McGill Professor in the Physics department at McGill University in Canada.
