Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Tereah Albury‑Thomas is the first Female Firearm Examiner in the Bahamas. She enlisted into the ranks of the Royal Bahamas Police Force December 2007 after completion of her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forensic Science. She has since completed over one thousand cases and examined over fifty different makes, model, caliber of firearms. Tereah is passionate about fighting crime.
