Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Dr. Shushanik Asmaryan’s research interests cover the issues of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Technologies applications for remote observation of the ecological state of environmental compartments, land use planning, land cover monitoring and modeling, and the main factors of land degradation primarily by erosion. She’s interested in Spatial Data Infrastructures — distributed GIS and Earth Observation Data Cube Infrastructures.
