Photo exhibition: Not a woman’s job?
Changing Faces of Science and Tech
The photo exhibition Not a woman’s job? is organized by the Perception Change Project at the United Nations Office at Geneva with the participation of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and the International Telecommunication Union.
The Organizers have invited ITU stakeholders to submit photos featuring the achievements and stories of women (18+) who have challenged gender stereotypes and overcome barriers in the field of science and technology.
Celebrating women who dare to lead, innovate and forge new paths in science and tech:
Professor Mimoza Hafizi, an astrophysicist from Albania, focuses on researching dark matter within and beyond our galaxy using Gravitational Lensing methods. She has also delved into the study of Gamma‑Ray Bursts.
Mimoza is recognized for her literary contributions, which include three scientific novels: “Rose Point,” centered on exoplanets; “Blue Infinity,” exploring infinity across various disciplines; and “Waiting for the Supernova.”
