ITU DLT Meet-ups

The International Telecommunication Union has organized a series of interactive “meet-ups” to discuss topics related to Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and their standardization, hapenning on the first Wednesday of every month. The goal of this initiative was to increase the collaboration with global DLT community and to bring new knowledge contributing to ITU-T standardization activities in ITU-T SG16 (now ITU-T SG21). This was also a channel to present the outcomes of ITU-T to the community, especially Question 12/21 (ex Question 22/16) Distributed Ledger Technology and E-services". Eleven episodes were organized, listed below.

Participation in these meet-ups were open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wishes to contribute to the work. This included individuals developing DLT technology, DLT service providers, research institutions, United Nations agencies, regulators, other related professionals, and also individuals who are members of international, regional and national organizations.
