Early Warnings for All Global Multistakeholder Forum
With 80 per cent of the world's population owning a mobile phone, cell broadcast is a game-changer to provide early warnings for all, the ITU Secretary-General told EW4ALL stakeholders. But it will take more than tech to scale up early warning systems globally. "So let's keep collaborating to get live-saving alerts to those at risk, in time to act," she said.
