Joint Coordination Activity on Digital COVID-19 Certificates (JCA-DCC)

​Digital COVID-19 Certificates (DCCs) are designed to prove that a person has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, tested for the virus, or recovered from COVID-19. It is recognized that digital certificates need to be suitable for use by both existing and emerging systems such as those based on decentralized identity (DID).​

JCA-DCC coordinates standardization work on DCCs between relevant ITU-T Study Groups, external organizations and forums, to foster the use of compatible data architectures for sharing data, and promoting interoperability, agility and safety for users, and all relevant stakeholders involved. JCA-DCC reports to TSAG.​ ​​​
