A Joint Declaration regarding Collaboration on Capacity and Digital Skills Development between the PT Indosat Tbk (“Indosat”) and ITU was signed on 13 September 2023, by Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat and Dr. Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Development Bureau.
The objective of the Joint Declaration is to strengthen digital literacy and skills of citizens in underserved communities, and promote digital inclusion in Indonesia, primarily through the Digital Transformation Centres Initiative (DTCI). Both entities intend to synergize efforts, with Indosat providing resources like mobile data and mentorship, and ITU focusing on training and content delivery.
