BDT Director's Corner: Activities

The annual meeting of the EQUALS Global Partnership to bridge the gender digital divide took place on 17 September 2022, in New York City.  

Attending the first ‘’in-person’’ annual meeting in three years, BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin commended partners across the 107 member network for their commitment and work across the four EQUALS coalitions on Access, Skills, Leadership and Research. 

She emphasized, ‘‘ensuring that women and girls benefit from digital opportunities unlock so many other opportunities for them, and that’s what makes our work so important, and so urgent.’’ 

Stay tuned for the EQUALS in Tech Awards 2022, which will recognize initiatives around the world that are building progress to bridge the gender digital divide.
