BDT Director's Corner: Activities

​The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the Network of Women for WTDC was held on 16 November.

While opening the session, BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin welcomed the newly appointed board members and expressed her enthusiasm for the growth of the Network of Women for WTDC.

The Network was established to boost women's representation and leadership in the structures that make up ITU's Development Sector, and to help them participate more actively in the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) in June 2022.

Affirming that ''Efforts to support women in our sector remain a top priority,'' Ms Bogdan-Martin thanked the members from all 6 ITU regions for their contributions in guiding the Network.
