​BDT Director Doreen Bogdan Martin delivered a keynote address at the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting on ''Addressing Digital Gender Divides''.  

A digitalized economy opens up both challenges and opportunities for women and girls. Highlighting the opportunities that women and girls are currently missing out on (in terms of employment, creation and design of technologies, and access to capital) Ms Bogdan-Martin urged, “If women were digitally empowered with fast affordable home connectivity, with education and digital skills, and with the confidence that education and connectivity bring… imagine what could be achieved!" ​
