​BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin participated in a fireside chat at Access Partnership's Fair Tech Forum, and addressed the question ''What did COVID do to the Plan for Fair Tech?''

In discussion with Gregory Francis, Managing Director of Access Partnership, Ms Bogdan-Martin emphasized the importance of placing connectivity at the heart of global COVID recovery efforts.

Recognizing the manner in which the private sector has contributed to extending connectivity during the COVID crisis, Ms Bogdan-Martin encouraged such private-public collaborative efforts to connect the unconnected.

She particularly stressed the need for a multistakeholder model of collaboration— one in which all players are recognized as fully-fledged development partners in digital transformation.
