BDT Director's Corner: Activities

​BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin spoke with Ms Joanne O'Riordan, Irish Activist and Sports Journalist, in an ''UNconnected'' podcast episode focused on Inclusion and Accessibility.

They discussed the importance of digital inclusion and accessibility for persons with disabilities, including how ICTs have helped persons with disabilities access the Internet and the barriers to access that persons with disabilities still face.

Ms Bogdan-Martin asked Ms O'Riordan to share her views from her personal experiences with digital accessibility having been born with the total-Amelia syndrome, her thoughts on making ICTs universally accessible, and suggestions on how to achieve this.
