BDT Director's Corner: Activities

​BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin gave welcoming remarks at the 5^TH meeting of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG) Working Group on Resolutions, Declaration, and Thematic Priorities.

She expressed that she was pleased to see the tremendous progress in this TDAG Working Group, and particularly noted the various discussions and concrete proposals on streamlining resolutions, drafting the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference's Declaration, proposing Study Questions and rescoping Thematic Priorities for the implementation of the Addis Ababa Action Plan.

While it was the final meeting of the Working Group, Ms Bogdan-Martin noted that discussions will continue in upcoming Regional Preparatory Meetings and in other Working Groups on the Strategic and Operational Plans.

She thanked delegates for their hard work, and for already having covered so much ground in the lead up to the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference.
