BDT Director's Corner: Activities

​BDT Director Doreen Bogdan-Martin met with H.E. Dr Ali Al Shidhani, Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) of the Sultanate of Oman, along with Eng. Badar Al Salehi, Director General, Oman-CERT; Dr Saoud Al Shoaili, Director General, Policies and Governance, MTCIT; and Mr Ahmed Al Bulushi, Team lead, International Cooperation, MTCIT, on 9 March 2021.

They discussed Oman's Vision 2040, and working together to enhance cyber safety and leverage emerging technologies for digital transformation. Ms Bogdan-Martin also shared ongoing preparations towards the 2021 World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-21), and engagement of youth in ICT development.  ​
