ITU, in collaboration with the Government of Mauritius (under MDPA), invites Member States in the Africa Region to the in-person workshop “AI, Data & Emerging Technologies for Digital Transformation and Inclusive Connectivity”. The workshop will explore how AI, data analytics and emerging technologies can support inclusive and resilient connectivity, and will share practical use cases across sectors.
Dates: 30 June–2 July 2026 (08:30–16:30, UTC+2)
Location: Port Louis, Mauritius (in person only)
Working language: English
Target audience: Beginners, technical experts, policymakers, regulators and practitioners from Mauritius and the Africa Region working on data analytics/AI, ICT or statistics
Key themes: Data-driven planning for transformational connectivity; AI and data analytics tools and methodologies; open-source solutions; sector use cases (telecommunications, health, education, transport, tourism, agriculture)
