Session on combating counterfeit ICT devices

​​​​Time and place: Thursday, 4 O​ctober 2018, 09:30 – 12:30 (Room H)

This session on combating counterfeit ICT devices will take place at ITU Headquarters (ITU Montbrillant building, Room H) in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday, 4 October 2018, from 09:30 to 12:30 prior to the ITU-D Study Group 2 Question 4/2 meeting dedicated to “Assistance to developing countries for implementing conformance and interoperability (C&I) programmes and combating counterfeit ICT equipment and theft of mobile devices”.

Background information

The session contributes to the implementation of the Question 4/2 workplan and is addressed to representatives of ministries, regulators, telecom operators, universities and general education institutions, telecommunication equipment manufacturers, research and design institutes, software developers and other interested stakeholders of the ITU Member States, Sector Members and Associates.
