Home : TIES : Registration
   


The TIES service is a set of networked information resources and services offered by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The goal of TIES is to support the requirements for electronic exchange of ITU-related information by the general public and ITU's member countries (189 as of September 1999).

The TIES service is available without any charge to persons or companies meeting one or other of the following conditions:

  • You are working in a Government Telecommunication Administration in one of the ITU Member States
  • Your company is a  Sector Member of the ITU
  • Your company is a  Sector Associate.
  • You are working in a Geneva-based permanent mission of an ITU Member State

TIES membership allows you, through the Internet, access to ITU information resources including contributions, delayed contributions, other working or temporary documents, reports, etc. ITU Publications may be acquired by subscribing to the ITU online subscription service or by purchasing individually. For further information on this paying service, please contact directly the Electronic Bookshop (sales.online@itu.int).

Access to study group ftp areas is granted directly by the sector concerned and only to those having a TIES account. Please contact them directly:
