Heightened security measures

Dear WTSA delegates,

We would like to inform you of the latest updates regarding the Opening Ceremony of WTSA on 15 October.

Due to heightened security, there have been changes to some of the timings communicated previously. Please note the following important information:

To ensure smooth entry and avoid delays, please pick up your badges at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday 12 October 09:00-17:00, Sunday 13 October 09:00-17:00 or Monday 14 October from 07:30-23:00.

Badging is closed on Tuesday 15 October morning, and reopens from 13:30-18:00. We therefore strongly encourage you pick up badges on Monday 14 October.

As per the message issued today, you are now required to carry your National Passport (and UN LP) with you during 12-16 October 2024.

Due to heightened security measures, updated timings are marked below in RED:

Only badge holders will be allowed access from 07:30-08:30 on 15 October.
No access to the campus after 08:30 due to security measures.
Late arrivals can only enter after 13:30.
Be seated in the Plenary Assembly Hall by 09:00 as doors will be locked at this time.
Personal belongings (bags, computers etc.) are not permitted inside the hall during the ceremony. You may bring mobile phones.
