Youth Special Track


On 6 July 2026, the first day of the WSIS Forum 2026 Youth Special Track, young people from around the world will come together at ITU Headquarters in Geneva for a full day of youth-led engagement, followed by sessions continuing across the Forum week through 10 July.

Co-organized by ITU, and a growing community of youth organizations, civil society, international organizations, and academic institutions from around the world, the dedicated track aims to bring young voices to the heart of the WSIS process and create a genuine space for youth to contribute to shaping the digital future through 2035.

The programme features 21 sessions across the Forum week, including a youth dialogue on technology and the next digital decade, a Knowledge Café on youth participation and digital inclusion toward WSIS 2035, thematic workshops covering AI governance, digital well-being, environmental sustainability, creative rights, and connectivity, a full day Model UN simulation on the global digital divide, ReModelUN Trialogue, AI and creativity workshops, and a Youth Party to bring everyone together on the evening of 6 July.

The WSIS Forum 2026 Youth Special Track builds on the energy and momentum of previous years, reflecting the ideas and ambitions of a new generation of digital leaders helping shape a future that works for everyone.

Bridging the global digital divide: ensuring equitable access to digital technologies (MUN)
