Physical (on-site) and Virtual (remote) participation

This session explores how emerging leaders are advancing the intersection of digital connectivity and sustainable energy systems. Through real-world case studies, participants will examine how digital infrastructure, responsible AI and data-driven tools are enabling more resilient, efficient and inclusive energy transitions.

The discussion will cover four key areas: digital connectivity and smart infrastructure for sustainable energy systems; AI-enabled optimization and energy efficiency; digital platforms and governance approaches that promote transparency and inclusivity; and capacity building to equip the next generation workforce with essential digital and energy skills.

Framed within the broader WSIS vision and the “Digital Connectivity Goals for the 2030-2045 UN Cycle,” the session will include interactive dialogue to identify roadmap elements linking digital technologies with sustainability objectives and policy priorities.

The expected outcome is a forward-looking set of practical insights and recommendations that highlight how young professionals and global technology practitioners can contribute to accelerating inclusive, secure and sustainable digital transformation.
