ITU's
AI for Good Global Summit, taking place 6-7 July, will feature artists collaborating with artificial intelligence to push the boundaries of artistic expression.
The AI for Good Global Summit brings United Nations organizations together with governments, industry leaders, tech visionaries and innovators to focus on how AI technologies can support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Generative AI and human-machine collaboration will be key themes amid the release of tools that are changing the way we think about creativity and productivity.
Artistic performances and exhibits at the event will merge technology and artistry, raising key questions about human-machine collaboration and AI's role in the future of creativity:
- How can artists harness AI to extend creative boundaries?
- How does human-machine interaction transform the artistic process?
- What are the implications of AI-generated art for intellectual property rights?
Confirmed AI artists, musicians, technologists, and artistic robots taking part in the event include:
-

About AI for Good
The goal of AI for Good is to identify practical applications of AI to accelerate progress towards the SDGs and connect AI innovators with public and private-sector decision-makers to help scale up AI solutions globally. The landmark 2017 AI for Good Global Summit marked the beginning of a global dialogue on the potential of AI to act as a force for good. The action-oriented 2018 and 2019 summits gave rise to numerous AI for Good projects including several ITU "pre-standardization" initiativ es investigating the standardization requirements for high-potential AI use cases. The upcoming AI for Good Global Summit 2023 (6-7 July, Geneva) combines 2,500+ participants and online participation from the over 15,000 members of the AI-powered community platform, the A I for Good Neural Network, making it the world's largest and most inclusive AI solutions and matchmaking event.
