Candidates for Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen

​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​WTSA Resolution 35 and Plenipotentiary Conference Resolution 208 describe​ the process for appointing chairmen and vice-chairmen. The TSB Director has issued TSB Circular 202​​ inviting Member States and Sector Members to nominate candidates for chairmen and vice-chairmen of ITU-T Study G​roups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG). The names and CVs of candidates nominated and their resource commitments will be posted here as soon as they are made available.

The chairmen and vice-chairmen of all regional groups are not appointed by WTSA but by the Study Groups.

​The chairmen of the following Groups will have reached their term limit by WTSA-20 or have become vacant:

• ​Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG)
  
• ​ITU-T SG3: Tariff and accounting principles and international telecommunication/ICT economic and policy issues
• ​ITU-T SG5: Environment, climate change and circular economy
  
• ITU-T ​SG12: Performance, QoS and QoE
• ITU-T SG13: Future networks, with focus on IMT-2020, cloud computing and trusted network infrastructures​
  
• ​ITU-T SG15: Transport, Access and Home
  
• ITU-T SG20: Internet of things (IoT) and smart cities and communities (SC&C)
