Where and when will WTSA-16 take place?

WTSA-16 will take place in the Medina Convention Center, Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia, from 25 October to 3 November 2016. Practical information can be found in TSB Circular 230. 

How do I register to WTSA?

Delegates should register via their designated focal point, click here for a full list of designated focal points (TIES password required). If you are not able to identify your designated focal point or if you have no TIES account please contact the WTSA-16 Registration team at wtsa-reg@itu.int.

How do I get a visa?

Please note that visas cannot be obtained through the ITU Secretariat. For complete details of visa requirements, participants are advised to consult the website of the Host Country at http://www.wtsa16.tn/visa.html.

How do I book a Hotel?

Hotel information is available from the website of the host country: http://www.wtsa16.tn/hotels.html. The host will provide transport for all WTSA-16 delegates upon arrival at the Tunis Carthage International Airport to/from those hotels in Yasmine-Hammamet that the host has labelled as "official. Airport Transfers

In order to benefit from this service, it is imperative that you provide us with details of your arrival and departure as well as your hotel information.

Please note that without this information, the transfer cannot be guaranteed.

Is there an Air Line discount?

What's the deadline for Contributions?

Delegations are invited to submit Contributions to WTSA-16 at least four weeks before the Assembly (Monday, 26 September 2016), noting the firm submission deadline of Monday, 10 October 2016.

Early availability of Contributions ensures sufficient time for translation and consideration before the Assembly.

How do I submit a candidacy for Chair or Vice Chair?

Should your administration/organization like to propose a candidate for a post of chairman or vice-chairman of an ITU-T study group, TSAG or SCV, or support a currently serving chairman or vice-chairman, it should send the name and biographical profile highlighting the qualifications of the individual concerned to the TSB Director[RC1]  at TSBDir@itu.int before 25 September 2016. Is there a remote participation facility for WTSA-16 meetings?
