IPTV Focus Group (FG IPTV)

​​​​​Introduction

The ​mission of ​FG IPTV was to coordinate and promote the development of global IPTV standards taking into account the existing work of the ITU study groups as well as Standards Developing Organizations, Fora and Consortia. It was established after the TSB Director's consultation meeting on IPTV standardization in April 2006, and concluded its activities in January 2008. The ITU-T standardization work continues under the IPTV Global Standards Initiative on IPTV (IPTV-GSI).
