Session 3: Digital Credit: New opportunities for financial inclusion Digital credit has emerged as a new product offering which provides borrowers quick and ready access to short-term loans, and enables digital financial service providers to reach the mass market. It is also seen as an opportunity to create new revenue streams and increase customer retention. This session will explore the digital credit landscape and the main issues that need to be considered by both operators and regulators to enable it to reach critical mass.
