Over consumptions and depletion of resources resulting from urbanization have given rise to worldwide dialogues on energy conservations and usage optimization. ICT based solutions have contended to be the most viable mean and platform to achieve the much needed efficiency in resource distribution as well as consumptions, thus making them the focal point of a smart sustainable city.

This panel discussion will bring together smart city stakeholders to share their views on the needs, requirements and visions for the implementation of smart sustainable cities. Eventually, the panel discussion will aim at identifying a common framework that can facilitate and guide the integration of ICT services in cities, enhancing livability and sustainability.
