This technical report outlines the metaverse as a platform that seamlessly integrates real and virtual worlds, enabling the creation of economic, social, and cultural value through immersive digital experiences. It introduces a set of classification criteria, including integration, metanomics, and immersiveness, to establish maturity levels that range from early-stage virtual connectivity to fully integrated real-virtual ecosystems.
Furthermore, the technical report identifies and analyzes the core metaverse technologies, such as immersive interfaces, interoperable digital assets, and synchronized interactions. These technologies are mapped to user requirements corresponding to each maturity level, providing a structured framework for stakeholders to assess and advance metaverse capabilities.
