Summary:
|
This Recommendation F.MVBIS establishes the requirements and framework for machine vision-based inspection services (MVBIS) in underground cable channels, comprising three core components: an operational overview, technical requirements, and a reference framework. The document first defines the architecture and functional capabilities in the overview of MVBIS, followed by detailed requirements covering general system requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements, device requirements, and network requirements. The reference framework is organized into five hierarchical layers: device layer, network layer, service layer, application layer, and system management layer, which collectively support end-to-end inspection services. For implementation guidance, an appendix illustrates practical application through a case study on cable partial defect detection.
