Summary:
|
By introducing distributed IoT-based inventory collaboration, we can carry out real-time replenishment and provision of warehouse inventory as needed through the use of big data technologies to provide services such as inventory matching, inventory decision, and inventory marketing. By introducing shared storage (blockchain-based system), data interoperability and distributed data storage are achieved among services of production side, operation side, and retail side located in different physical areas. Inventory information from each warehouse is obtained through IoT sensors (for example industrial cameras) and is provided to distributed IoT-based inventory collaboration for big data processing, thereby guiding the supply of finished products on the production side and the supply of products on the retail side, leading to collaboration among producers, inventory operators, retailers, and other parties.
This new Recommendation specifies a detailed explanation of the technical framework of the distributed IoT-based inventory collaboration. It includes requirements, reference framework, and mapping for distributed IoT-based inventory collaboration. This can serve as guidance for stakeholders in researching, developing, testing, deploying, and managing distributed IoT-based inventory collaboration.
