Summary: The objective of the present document is to define a data model for energy discrete states within virtualised networks, and operations to interact on this model. In virtualised networks, establishing a mapping between the energy discrete states of logical entities (e.g. virtualised network functions) and the energy consumption of the hardware hosting the Virtual Machines that execute these logical entities is a challenging task. This recommendation (GALv2) adapts the Green Abstraction Layer specification (GALv1) to the virtualised networks.
