Abstract :

In light of the anticipated unavailability of meeting facilities at ITU headquarters during the implementation of the new building construction project, and considering the key role of the Council Working Groups (CWGs) in supporting the Council's decision-making process, particularly with regard to the Strategic Plan, the Financial Plan and the decisions of the Plenipotentiary Conferences, the planning and organization of their meetings may be adversely affected.
In this context, it is necessary for the Council to take appropriate measures to ensure the continuity of the work of the CWGs under suitable conditions.
