Abstract :	The contribution seeks to request the 2026 Council to recommend to the 2026 Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-26) to convene the third edition of the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) that would review and revise the International Telecommunication Regulations (ITRs) to align with new trends and emerging issues in global ICTs/Telecommunications. It is further proposed that the Expert Group on ITRs be encouraged to continue its work at the next Council Period.
