光传输网络：与协议无关的管理信息模型的网元视图

ITU-T G.874.1建议书提供了一个协议中立的管理信息模型，用于光传输网络（OTN）网元管理。该模型包含被管实体及其属性，可用于描述在M.3010电信管理网络（TMN）体系架构中定义的接口上交换的信息。协议中立管理信息模型应作为定义具体协议的管理信息模型的基础使用，如CMISE、CORBA、SNMP信息模型。从协议中立的实体映射到具体协议的对象由具体协议模型设计决定，并应在具体协议的信息模型建议书中描述。该建议书2012年修订更新的管理信息模型，支持2010年ITU-T G.798建议书修订引入的新传输功能管理，并支持ITU-T G.874建议书2010年修订时引入的管理要求升级。
