A truly collaborative effort involving the Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council,
South Cambridgeshire District Council, University of Cambridge and private partners, the iCP “also
allows citizens, third-party developers and commercial partners to use the data to design and build
innovative applications, following examples, such as the MotionMap travel app, Digital Wayfinding
            Screens and SmartPanels”.

Sharing of open data is a key feature of the iCP. It is being combined with data collected by other
projects, such as the Urban Data Project, to create digital twins and to further study issues around
            data transparency and protection .
