He received Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China in 2002 and joined China Unicom.
From then on, he participated and/or hosted many China Unicom’s multimedia system design and research work as well as service platform development work, such as IPTV system service platform. He led the establishment of China Unicom series IPTV enterprise specifications and industry standards. Later, he participated the standard establishment of China Unicom Telematics service support platform, and the industry standard of Telematics service platform based on public communication networks. He is now responsible for the establishment of ITU-T series Rec. of vehicle gateway platform.
He once won the first and the third prize of science and technology from China Communications Institute respectively, won the first and the second prize of science and technology from China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) respectively, won the innovation special prize and the second prize of science and technology from China Unicom, and awarded the ‘advanced workers’ by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. He won twice the title of ‘outstanding person’ from Telematics Industry Application Alliance of China.
