Blockchain Secure Authentication - Developer Resources

​​​​​​​The Blockchain Secure Authentication (BSA) platform uses Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and Biometric technology to boost security and enhance user experience for access and authenticate transactions. By combining Blockchain and Biometric technologies, BSA offers a passwordless authentication solution.

The BSA sandbox resources are kindly provided by FSNV and ​facilitated through the ITU DFS Security Lab, developers have access to resources (Mobile SDK, Web SDK and documentation) enabling them to explore, test, and improve DFS applications integrated with BSA authentication solution prior to live deployment. The ITU BSA sandbox facilitates the development process, providing developers the opportunity to uncover insights, address potential challenges, and confirm the effectiveness of their Blockchain Secure Authentication service.

BSA Demo application

The BSA demo app demonstrates how BSA works as a DFS authentication solution.​ It demos account onboarding, device registration, user authentication, transaction ​approval and verification processes leveraging BSA authentication for enhanced security and convenience.

  • FNSpay Demo app [An​droid]: The FNSPay System is a purpose-built platform designed to replicate an e-Wallet/Banking application, seamlessly integrated with our Passwordless BSA Authentication services.

BSA Sandbox Environment Resources

The BSA sandbox resources are kindly provided by FSNV and ​ provide resources for developers  to test passwordless authentication by integrating and implementing BSA authentication into their applications (both web and native apps) in a risk free environment.

The following are the steps to use BSA Sandbox SDK and documentation:

  1. Request for a Client Key: ​To get the client key fill in the form: Link to the form
  2. Download the BSA Sandbox App (Authenticator): Android| iOS 
  3. BSA sandbox app manual​​: This instructional handbook is designed to assist users in installing mobile applications from sources other than the official app store. It covers Prerequisites, Installation Guide, Onboarding and Functionality​
  4. Follow the BSA ​Sandbox Techinical Guides
    • Android: This document outlines the process of developing an Android Native application while making the most effective use of the Android SDK for seamless BSA authentication implementation.
    • iOS: The BSA Web allows for the use of BSA Authentication directly within web browsers. This guide will outline the most effective methods for utilizing the BSA Web Library.​
    • Web​: This document will describe how to  use of the BSA Web Library.
