Zeid Alkadi TRC Mr. Zeid Alkadi is the head of quality control to the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) in Jordan, generally managing the radio and technical complaints operation in cooperation with mobile operators. Mr. Zeid Also headed the technical studies section in TRC Jordan, which included proposing technical requirements, guidelines and instructions, research and benchmark. He also established CBA for regulated services via benchmarking and statistical data analysis. Mr. Zeid developed strategies for NGN project in cooperation with EU twining program and managed public consultations related to policies and regulations. Zeid is currently an active admin member of ITU SG12 for the period 2017-2020, his interests in QoS/QoE modeling was translated into best award operator via implementing statistical modeling and benchmark projects. Other than QoE KPI investigations, his interests cover crowdsourcing, OTT and IoT fields. Mr. Zeid Alkadi holds 16 years of experience and currently holds M.S in Communication Engineering and M.S. in System Engineering and Engineering Management from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. |
Vlad Bratu SIGOS, Germany
Vlad Bratu works as a Product Manager for the SITE system, in the Quality of Service and Quality of Experience Business Unit. His main responsibility is to define new features that will be included in the SITE Roadmap. Before joining SIGOS, Vlad worked as a Research Engineer at Wireless@KTH, a leading research center in the area of wireless communications. His work focused on the area of antenna-based Self-Optimizing-Networks and later, techno-economic aspects related to Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications and cellular networks. Vlad holds a Master of Science (MSc.) in Communication Systems from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. She is Head of Regional Office of the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission Patras. She worked for 18 years at the regulatory area and among others duties and projects, she was the leader of the editorial Group on Quality Indicators of mobile communications systems for the project "System of Measurement and Reporting of Electronic Communication Networks' Quality Indicators", head of the Implementation Group of the in-house, financed by EE, project "Study of international practices for measuring Electronic Communication Networks' Quality Indicators for existing and new technologies and their adaptation to the Greek Telecom Market and regulatory framework", chairman of the Monitoring and Acceptance Committee of the project "System for Measuring and Reporting of QoS of Electronic Communication Networks", Chairman of the Task Force, appointed via the EETT Decision 621/2011 (OGG Issue 2417/B/2011), composed of representatives of the mobile providers of Greece and executives of EETT about QoS measurements and member of the Regulatory Framework for the Neutrality of Electronic Services Networks according the European Decision EE 2015/2120. Ashutosh Singla, M.Sc. has been working as a PhD student in the Audiovisual Technology Group at TU Ilmenau since September 2016. His research interests include image and video coding/processing, deep learning and improve/provide QoE in immersive multimedia technologies. Currently, he is working on evaluation and improvement of QoE in head-mounted displays.
