Introduction
ITU is organizing a series of workshops and meetings in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 15-19 July 2013.
The events will bring together leading specialists in the field, from top policy-makers to engineers, designers, planners, government officials, media, regulators, standards experts and academia representatives.
These events will aim at raising awareness of the importance and opportunities of using ICT standards to build a green economy with a special focus in the African region and at providing information sharing on benchmarking of QoS evaluation of multimedia networks, also facilitating discussion and progressing the work of SG12 RG-AFR and SG5 RG-AFR.
